Software used/materials: Adobe Illustrator, Pigma Micron pens
For a typography class project, I created a poster that combines digital typography and hand lettering to achieve a cohesive composition. Drawing inspiration from the classic Beck song, I selected a line and illustrated it using Micron pens. I then digitized the hand-drawn lettering using Adobe Illustrator and seamlessly integrated it with digital typography.
To capture the song's essence, I added textures and colours to provide a grunge element that evokes nostalgia. The overall result was a dynamic, eye-catching design that captured the viewer's attention.
This project demonstrates my ability to combine traditional techniques with digital tools to create a visually compelling composition. It showcases my ability to think outside the box and take a unique approach to typography design.
